## Bio

Filip Skokan has maintained the JavaScript ecosystem's core OpenID Connect and JOSE libraries since 2015: openid-client on the relying-party side, node-oidc-provider on the server side, and jose for the cryptography underneath both. His libraries carry OpenID Connect certification for the Basic, FAPI 1.0, and FAPI 2.0 relying-party profiles. He is also a Node.js core collaborator and TSC member.

Profile built from public project, certification, and foundation records.

## Where their work shows up

A large share of Node applications that speak [OpenID Connect](https://startwithidentity.com/standards/openid-connect/) correctly do so because these libraries exist and are certified, which means the signature checks, nonce handling, and [PKCE](https://startwithidentity.com/glossary/pkce/) flow were implemented once by someone who reads the specifications rather than a thousand times from blog posts. Certification is the part that matters: it is tested conformance, not a claim. See the [Auth.js profile](https://startwithidentity.com/vendors/open-source/authjs/) and the [FAPI deep-dive](https://startwithidentity.com/standards/fapi/).
