## Where their work shows up

Vendor documentation describes what a product does. The gap practitioners actually face is everything around it: sequencing an [IGA](https://startwithidentity.com/guides/fundamentals/what-is-iga/) rollout so the first access review does not collapse, getting an identity programme funded against competing priorities, and what a [migration](https://startwithidentity.com/guides/) costs in the second year. That material is rarely written down, and a practitioner podcast is one of the few places it gets said out loud. See the [practitioner interviews](https://startwithidentity.com/interviews/) and the [career guides](https://startwithidentity.com/guides/career/iam-career-paths/).
