## Bio

Jim McDonald is a director at RSM US and co-hosts Identity at the Center with Jeff Steadman. The show alternates between the two hosts working through a topic and interviews with practitioners, vendor leaders, and analysts.

Profile built from public podcast and employer records.

## Where their work shows up

The podcast has become a working record of how identity programmes actually run: [MFA](https://startwithidentity.com/rankings/best-mfa-solutions/) rollout patterns and where they stall, [ITDR](https://startwithidentity.com/guides/fundamentals/what-is-itdr/) maturity in organizations that have not finished the basics, and how vendor selection really gets decided. It is also one of the main routes newcomers use to learn the vocabulary of the field.
