## Overview

Sticky Password is a consumer [password manager](https://startwithidentity.com/vendors/password-management/) from Lamantine Software in the Czech Republic, dating to 2001. It is notable for local Wi-Fi sync and a lifetime-license option alongside subscriptions, appealing to privacy-minded individuals.

## What it is good at

Local Wi-Fi sync lets users keep data syncing between devices without a vendor cloud, and the one-time lifetime license is a rarity that suits people who dislike subscriptions. It is simple, established, cross-platform, and covers the core autofill and vaulting needs of individual users well. A portion of proceeds has historically supported manatee conservation, a small but genuine differentiator for buyers who weigh such things.

## Where it falls short

It lacks the team, admin, and collaboration features of business managers, and there is essentially no enterprise SSO or governance. It is closed-source, the feature set is modest next to modern managers, and it is squarely a consumer tool rather than a business platform. Development pace and platform updates move more slowly than the market leaders, and the apps can feel utilitarian.

## Pricing

Subscription or one-time lifetime license for individuals. Compare against alternatives with the [TCO calculator](https://startwithidentity.com/tools/tco-calculator/).

## Best for, and who should look elsewhere

Choose Sticky Password for simple personal use, local sync, or a lifetime license without subscriptions. For team and business needs see [Bitwarden](https://startwithidentity.com/vendors/password-management/bitwarden/), [Dashlane](https://startwithidentity.com/vendors/password-management/dashlane/), or [NordPass](https://startwithidentity.com/vendors/password-management/nordpass/) instead.

## Bottom line

A simple consumer manager with local sync and a lifetime-license option, not built for business use. It is a niche pick whose appeal rests largely on the lifetime license and local sync rather than breadth of features.
