myID
myID (Australian Government Digital ID, formerly myGovID)
myID is Australia's whole-of-government digital identity app, launched as myGovID in 2019 and renamed to myID in November 2024. It lets individuals prove who they are online once and reuse that identity across participating government services. It is the primary credential within the legislated AGDIS under the Digital ID Act 2024.
