What this conference is for
Identity Week Europe is a two-day exhibition and conference run by events company Terrapinn at the RAI exhibition centre in Amsterdam. Terrapinn says the event has run for 20 years and cites more than 4,000 attendees, 250 speakers, 250 exhibitors, and about 100 start-ups. Its roots are in secure documents and government identity, and that still shapes the floor: national ID programs, biometrics, border and travel credentials, and the European digital identity wallet sit alongside enterprise access management.
Who should attend
Teams working on government or regulated-sector identity, identity verification and fraud, and anyone tracking the EU Digital Identity Wallet from the supplier side. Enterprise IAM architects will find less protocol depth here than at EIC or Identiverse.
What to expect
A large expo with conference tracks running alongside, start-up showcases, and a heavy public-sector presence. Terrapinn offers free all-access passes to qualifying attendees; who qualifies is set by the organizer.
