Gov.gr Wallet is the official mobile app of the Greek state that lets citizens store and present a digital version of their national ID card and driving licence on a smartphone. The digital documents are legally equivalent to the physical ones for use within Greece but are not valid as travel documents abroad. The wallet has expanded to carry additional documents.

Taxisnet credentials are a username-and-password account issued by the Greek tax authority that citizens and businesses use to authenticate to gov.gr and the wider range of public e-services, including enrolling documents into the Gov.gr Wallet. They are the long-standing backbone identity for Greek e-government.
