Misagh Moayyed has worked on Apereo CAS since 2009 and is its project lead and chairman, handling technical direction alongside the unglamorous parts: release engineering, build infrastructure, mailing lists, and vulnerability disclosure. He is an Apereo Fellow and a pac4j committer.

Where their work shows up
CAS predates most of the modern identity stack and still authenticates users at universities across the world, which means it has had to absorb SAML, OpenID Connect, and multi-factor authentication without breaking deployments that have run for fifteen years.
