The Finnish Trust Network is a regulated framework that brings together bank identifiers and the mobile certificate (Mobiilivarmenne) as strong authentication methods. It replaced the older TUPAS banking authentication, which was phased out by 2019. These eIDs are widely used to access banking, public and private services, often through Suomi.fi e-Identification.
