FranceConnect and FranceConnect+
FranceConnect is the French state's identity federation. Instead of creating a new account, users sign in to public and private services with an account they already hold at a trusted identity provider such as impots.gouv.fr, ameli.fr, La Poste's Identite Numerique or France Identite. FranceConnect+ is the higher-assurance tier required for procedures such as financial transactions and access to medical records.
