Deepak Gupta founded Start with Identity, the community that writes and reviews this site. His career has been on the building side of identity: he founded the CIAM platform LoginRadius in 2013 and built it from scratch, serving as board member, CTO, and CISO, taking it from a social-login product to a full customer identity platform operating at consumer scale while running its SOC 2, ISO, GDPR, and CCPA programs.
He holds five granted patents spanning DDoS defense, IoT authentication, searchable encryption, and AI-based detection, has written seven books on security and privacy, and writes regularly on identity and AI security at guptadeepak.com, with bylines in Forbes, Entrepreneur, VentureBeat, and Fast Company.
